Each year FRONZ holds it Annual
Conference and AGM over the 3 days of Queens Birthday Weekend (first
weekend in
June). Venues usually alternate between the North and South Islands.
The Conference is a great forum for:
- Presentations and discussion groups on topics of interest
and
concern to members.
- Hearing from the Government agencies that control our
industry;
eg
Land Transport NZ, ONTRACK, etc
- Informal chats with others who have been through the same
problems that you are having. (Some delegates claim that the evening
"bar sessions" are the most informative part of a conference.)
- Visits to local members sites to see how they do things.
The 2009 Conference will be held in Christchurch over May 30 to June 1. Details
will be posted in March/April 2009. |
